Margaret (Maggie) Carberry

1.1.2 – 2nd child of Ann Anderson and Michael Carberry

 

When Margaret Carberry was born on 3 February 1847 in Jamberoo, New South Wales, her father, Michael, was 42, and her mother, Ann, was 20.

Maggie was baptised on the 25^th March 1847 by Rev P Young. Her father was listed as a labourer, and the baptism occurred in the Roman Catholic Parish of Wollongong (V1847299364).

Maggie and John YOUNG married on the 14th September 1870. They were to have a family of three children before Maggie’s death in 1876 at the same young age as her sister had passed away three years earlier, 29.
