David and Margaret were married in 1885 at Bega, NSW. Margaret was the daughter of William and Jane Murray. David and Margaret after spending their early-married life on the South Coast moved up to Eltham near Lismore on the North Coast. David and Margaret were to have a family of 11 children, including a stillborn daughter.
