Sarah and Thomas EVISON married in 1879 at Shoalhaven. Thomas was the son of James Evison and Rebecca Piper. Sarah had already had a daughter named Jane Ellen Anderson, who was not the child of Thomas Evison. Together Sarah and Thomas Evison had a daughter named Elizabeth Rebecca Evison.

Sarah and Thomas lived at Bellingen. Thomas was killed at Sunny Corner, about 16km from Bellingen, the year after his marriage to Sarah. He was buried on the hill going up to the hospital and the grave is unmarked.

FERNMOUNT.

Wednesday.

On Tuesday last, as Mr. T. Evison, a new settler from, the Shoalhaven district, was felling a tree on his selection, at the South Arm, it fell on him, breaking both his thighs and inflicting other severe injuries.

Doctor Auld was sent for, and everything done that was possible, but to no purpose, as Evison died last night.

Sarah returned to the South Coast and on the 10th September 1890 married John Pestell, the son of Joseph and Catherine PESTELL. Sarah died at Meroo on the 28th April 1911 and John later died in 1914 at Nowra.
