Alfred and Ivy were married at Newtown, NSW on the 27^th November 1923.

Alfred farmed with his parents at Beaumont then Bells Lane, Cambewarra.  When son Harold was of age they moved to a farm in Andersons Lane, Berry (the lane was named after the Anderson’s). Alfred was buried in the Presbyterian section of Berry Cemetery upon his death from tetanus, aged 69. Ivy was also buried there when she passed away in 1985, aged 82.

They were to have one son:
